In November, Russia inflicted significant strikes on Ukraine's energy system, increasing the threat of blackouts during the winter period. According to Reuters, two waves of attacks - on November 17 and 28 - severely damaged Ukraine's energy infrastructure at the most critical Time. The latest attack, which occurred on Thursday, led to widespread power outages across the country. The situation has now worsened due to low air temperatures, which have already dropped to 0 degrees Celsius.
Despite the severe damage to energy infrastructure, an industry representative expressed confidence that Ukraine will be able to overcome future challenges.
