Like from a horror movie: how Ukrainian defenders retreated from Kursk.

Participants of the Ukrainian army who took part in the battle in the Kursk region of Russia described the difficult conditions of retreat. They reported coming under fire from Russian drones and facing constant attacks. The amount of destroyed equipment was also very high. Nevertheless, Ukrainian troops managed to retreat to more advantageous positions. Russia also suffered significant losses during this battle.
One of the army participants noted that they were under continuous fire from Russian drones throughout, which were used for both reconnaissance and attacks. Additionally, some routes were blocked, complicating supply and evacuation efforts.
Despite the difficult conditions, Ukrainian troops did not give up and created a buffer zone that prevents Russian forces from approaching the city of Sumy. The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Oleksandr Syrskyi, stated that Ukrainian forces will remain in Kursk as long as necessary. Russian losses exceed 50,000 personnel.
This is just a partial account of events in the Kursk region, but it provides an overall picture of the complexity of the battle and the bravery of the Ukrainian military.
