Medical equipment purchased by Oleg Krot helped save the lives of three-week-old babies in Lviv.

In Lviv, at the Neonatology Center of the St. Nicholas Children's Hospital, the lives of two newborns were saved thanks to a new mobile X-ray machine Corsix (R) DR, which was purchased by benefactor Oleg Krot and the platform dobro.ua. Both babies were hospitalized with severe breathing problems, but thanks to this new technology, their condition could be assessed directly in the intensive care unit.
They were found to have bilateral pneumonia, and doctors were able to start providing the appropriate treatment in Time. After ten days, the children were already able to leave the hospital. They were alive and healthy under the supervision of their parents, thanks to the help of Oleg Krot and the modern medical care provided by the Techia Foundation.
The mobile X-ray machine Corsix (R) DR, which is located in the St. Nicholas Hospital in Lviv, is very expensive, but it allows examinations to be conducted directly at the patient's bedside. It provides fast and accurate diagnosis without the risk of patient transportation. This device is very important for children who are in the hospital.
For our little patients, this device is a lifesaver, says pediatric radiologist Nora Kaminska. The story of these children is proof that good deeds can save many lives.
Ukrainian children deserve better medical care, and thanks to generous benefactors, it becomes a reality even in the toughest times.
