Where Covid-19 Came From: The US Congress Published Investigation Results.

The US House of Representatives committee, led by Republicans, has concluded its investigation into the coronavirus and claims its laboratory origin in Wuhan. This was expressed by the Special Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic in Congress.
The main argument is the fact that the virus exhibits biological characteristics atypical for nature. In addition, all cases of Covid-19 arose from direct human-to-human transmission, distinguishing this pandemic from previous ones of natural origin.
The report also emphasizes that Wuhan is home to a leading Chinese laboratory that has a high level of biosecurity and conducts research on Sars.
Researchers from the Wuhan Institute of Virology also fell ill with a virus that resembled Covid-19 long before the virus was officially detected. It is noted that if there was evidence of natural origins for the virus, it would have already been found, but currently, such evidence does not exist.
The report also criticizes the measures aimed at mitigating the impact of Covid-19, including social distancing and mask mandates. It notes that prolonged lockdowns seriously harmed the American economy and the health of citizens, especially the young.
It should be noted that in Kyiv, 196 cases of coronavirus were registered in the last week of October. A total of 12,140 people have fallen ill in the capital since the beginning of the year.
A new subvariant of the coronavirus Omicron - Flirt - has also been identified in Ukraine. It spreads faster and evades the immune response more easily, but vaccines remain effective against it.
