The Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated a Buryat fighter who was the commander of a tank platoon.

The Armed Forces destroyed the militant Bator Erdiniev, who participated in the Russian occupation. This information was provided by the portal 'Glavcom'.
Bator Erdiniev, born on April 17, 1981, was known in the area and republic as an active participant in wrestling tournaments.
In December 2023, he voluntarily joined the fifth tank brigade of the occupiers.
Wrestler Bator Erdiniev, known as 'Bargut', was the commander of the tank company platoon of the 5th Guards Tank Brigade of the 36th Combined Arms Army of the Eastern Military District. He was killed on March 26, 2025, in the Donetsk region.
The occupier is survived by his wife and two daughters.
The farewell to the militant will take place on April 18 in the city of Ulan-Ude.
Let us recall that Ukrainian wrestler Irina Kolyadenko refused to take a joint photo with Russian Dinara Kudaeva, the daughter of the eliminated occupier, during the European Wrestling Championship. It should be noted that Kolyadenko won a bronze medal in the tournament in the weight category up to 65 kg, held in Bratislava, Slovakia.
Dinara Kudaeva also received a bronze medal in the same category. During the awarding ceremony featuring both athletes, Kolyadenko refused to take a photo. It is worth noting that Moldovan representative Irina Ringachi also refused to take a photo with the occupier's daughter, but Norwegian athlete Grace Bullen still decided to take a joint photo with Kudaeva.
In 2022, at the beginning of the Russian occupation, Irina Kolyadenko was held hostage in the city of Irpin. She was able to leave the city only at the end of March. Additionally, her apartment in Irpin was destroyed during the shelling. Kolyadenko received this apartment after a successful performance at the Tokyo Olympics, where she won a bronze medal.
On May 9, 2024, Ukrainian defenders also eliminated Dinara Kudaeva's father, an occupation official Zak Salikhov. The Russian wrestler herself posted photos of her father with weapons and in military uniform on her Instagram, calling him to be honored as a 'hero'.
Such actions of Kudaeva contradict the policy of the International Olympic Committee, which demands a 'neutral' status for athletes from the Russian Federation. However, the pro-Russian International Wrestling Federation continues to allow her to compete.
