Zelensky visited Dnipro and met with soldiers, veterans, and businessmen

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky visited Dnipro on April 2, 2025, on the 1134th day of the war. During the trip, he met with wounded soldiers, veterans, and representatives of the local business community.

The head of state highly praised the work of doctors in the Dnipro medical facility who saved the lives of Ukraine's defenders.

'One of the greatest results in saving the lives of our people is here in Dnipro – more than 40 thousand wounded, 96% saved. I want to thank you for this – simply great job! All doctors, surgeons, everyone who supports, thank you!' - emphasized Zelensky.

The President discussed the 'TitansUA' initiative and the rehabilitation of former soldiers with veterans.

'It is important that the guys are very energetic and know how to overcome problems, and do not forget about their comrades. Opportunities for the rehabilitation and development of veterans in small communities must be created, and creating such opportunities based on schools is a good idea from the veteran guys' - noted the head of state.

The President stressed the importance of maintaining connections between veterans and their units and defense forces. He also emphasized the need for the development of domestic production of rehabilitation and support equipment for veterans.

Special attention was given to meetings with representatives of Dnipropetrovsk businesses. According to Zelensky, the region has a significant contribution to the country's GDP.

'I would like to thank everyone who preserves and creates jobs in the region, everyone who works for Ukraine, for Ukraine. We will continue all government programs that have shown their effectiveness' - highlighted the President.

After the meeting with businesses, Zelensky instructed government officials to fulfill the requests of entrepreneurs regarding support for the region's industry.
