Salaries in Ukraine: which sectors have seen the biggest pay increases.


The average salary of employees in Ukraine has increased by 22.3%
According to the State Statistics Service, in the third quarter of 2024, the average salary of employees in Ukraine was 21,946 hryvnias. This is an increase of 22.3% compared to the same period last year, reports State Statistics.
The highest salary is in the 'Information and Telecommunications' sector
The highest salary is currently observed in the 'Information and Telecommunications' sector, amounting to 50,752 hryvnias (an increase of 37.7% compared to the same period last year).
Finance specialists earn an average of 40,194 hryvnias
In second place in the ranking is the 'Financial and Insurance Activities' sector. The average salary for finance specialists is 40,194 hryvnias (an increase of 20.5% compared to the corresponding period last year).
The salary in the 'Professional, Scientific and Technical Activities' sector is 28,167 hryvnias
The 'Professional, Scientific and Technical Activities' sector ranks third, with employee salaries in this field amounting to 28,167 hryvnias (an increase of 24.6%).
Salaries have increased in the 'Public Administration and Defense' sector
In the 'Public Administration and Defense' sector, salaries have risen to 26,904 hryvnias (an increase of 24%).
The lowest salaries are in education
The lowest salaries are observed in education, amounting to 13,970 hryvnias. However, compared to the corresponding period last year, they have increased by 15.6%.
