Popular Products Disappear from Ukrainian Supermarkets: What Can No Longer Be Bought.

Ukrainian supermarkets are beginning to refuse Russian and Belarusian products. The disappearance of these goods is not related to shortages or logistics problems, but is the result of import bans and a conscious refusal of products from aggressor countries, reports Novyny.LIVE.
Brands That Can No Longer Be Purchased in Ukraine
Ukrainian stores continue to halt supplies of goods with a 'Russian trace' in 2025, although some manufacturers try to hide their origin under foreign names. According to analysts from 'Opendatabot', among the products that have almost completely disappeared from the Ukrainian market are:
- Tea Products: Greenfield, Princess Nuri, Princess Candy
- Baby Food: 'Tyoma', 'Agusha'
- Dairy Products: 'Prostokvashino'
- Alcoholic Beverages: beer 'Zhiguli', 'Baltika'
- Convenience Foods: 'Yermolino'
- Pasta Products: 'Makfa'
Experts note that this list is not exhaustive, and some products of Russian or Belarusian origin may still be available in certain stores.
How to Check the Origin of a Product Yourself
The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine has developed a practical action plan as part of the project 'Diia.Open Data', which helps consumers avoid purchasing products from aggressors:
- Check the barcode on the product:
- 482 - product manufactured in Ukraine
- 481 - product originates from Belarus
- 460-469 - product of Russian production
- Analyze information about the manufacturer: use the services of YouControl and Opendatabot to check the true owners of the brand, both from a legal point of view and in terms of offshore companies and real beneficiaries.
Consumers should be cautious during purchases to avoid indirectly supporting the economy of countries that are waging war against Ukraine.
