The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine updated the losses of Russian occupiers as of the morning of Monday, October 7, 2024.
Losses of Russia in the war as of October 7, 2024
Russia in the war with Ukraine as of October 7 has lost:
- personnel - about 661,630 (+1160) people,
- tanks - 8,933 (+14) units,
- combat armored vehicles - 17,710 (+31) units,
- artillery systems – 19,156 (+64) units,
- MRLS – 1,223 (+7) units,
- air defense systems – 972 (+2) units,
- aircraft – 368 (+0) units,
- helicopters – 328 (+0) units,
- operational-tactical UAVs – 16,643 (+65),
- cruise missiles – 2,615 (+2),
- ships / boats – 28 (+0) units,
- submarines – 1 (+0) unit,
- motor vehicles and fuel tankers – 26,102 (+96) units,
- special equipment – 3,364 (+1)

Occupant fleet activity as of October 7
- In the Black Sea, four enemy ships carrying Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to 24 missiles;
- No enemy ships in the Sea of Azov;
- In the Mediterranean Sea, three enemy ships, two of which carry Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to 20 missiles.
During the day, in the interests of the Russian Federation, the Kerch Strait was crossed by:
- to the Black Sea – six vessels, four of which continued towards the Bosphorus Strait;
- to the Sea of Azov – five vessels, one of which was moving from the Bosphorus Strait.
Today marks the 957th day of the full-scale war in Ukraine.
