At the moment, according to new data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russian occupiers have suffered significant losses.
Russia's losses in the war as of January 28, 2025
According to information, the Russian Federation has lost the following in the war with Ukraine:
- personnel - about 833,000 (+1,380) individuals;
- tanks - 9,876 (+5) units;
- armored combat vehicles - 20,573 (+12) units;
- artillery systems - 22,366 (+27) units;
- MLRS - 1,263 (+0) units;
- air defense systems - 1,050 (+0) units;
- aircraft - 369 (+0) units;
- helicopters - 331 (+0) units;
- operational-tactical drones - 23,399 (+72) units;
- cruise missiles - 3,053 (+0) units;
- ships / boats - 28 (+0) units;
- submarines - 1 (+0) unit;
- automotive equipment and fuel tankers - 35,269 (+86) units;
- special equipment - 3,718 (+2) units.
Enemy fleet activity as of January 28
- There are two enemy ships in the Black Sea, one of which is capable of launching a missile strike with four missiles;
- No enemy ships are present in the Sea of Azov;
- There are six enemy ships in the Mediterranean Sea, two of which are capable of launching missile strikes up to 22 missiles.
Over the past day, the Russian Federation has allowed the following through its territory via the Kerch Strait:
- four vessels into the Black Sea, but none continued towards the Bosphorus Strait;
- one vessel to the Sea of Azov that was transitioning from the Bosphorus Strait.
The war in the country has been ongoing for 1070 days.
