Payments in October and 2025: Expert Explained What Will Change for Pensioners.

Pension expert Serhii Korobkin analyzed the situation with pension payments in September 2024. According to him, the main news is that there is no plan to increase the subsistence minimum and minimum wage next year. This means that the minimum pension will remain at the level of 2,361 UAH.
The amount of state social assistance for disability will also not change. This should affect some types of pension payments and supplements that depend on these indicators.
Pension Indexation
Regarding pension indexation, Korobkin believes that the calculations are erroneous and overestimated. He claims that the growth of pensions can be a maximum of 13%, not what was announced. In 2024, the increase in pensions was only 8%.
New Communication Options with the Pension Fund of Ukraine
Korobkin also reported on new communication options with the Pension Fund of Ukraine (PFU). Now you can contact the PFU via Skype in messaging mode. This service is free.
Meeting of the Pension Fund Board
The expert noted that the information about the results of the Pension Fund Board meeting was uninformative. It seems that at the meeting, they just confirmed their functionality.
Reduction in Pension Expenditures
September's pension expenditures decreased by 600 million UAH compared to August. Instead of 63.5 billion UAH, 62.9 billion UAH were paid out in September. The expert believes that this may indicate a decrease in the number of pensioners.
