Starting from April 4, 2025, changes will be implemented, which were adopted by the Law of Ukraine on December 18, 2024, No. 4158-IX 'On amendments to some legislative acts of Ukraine regarding mandatory state social insurance'. This was reported with reference to the Pension Fund of Ukraine. The amendments to Law No. 4158 concern providing assistance to insured persons in the event of temporary disability, pregnancy, and childbirth both at the main place of work and at the place of work in addition, including those engaged in entrepreneurial activities. At the same Time, these changes do not restrict the number of additional places of work where the insured person has the right to receive insurance payments.'If a person loses the ability to work due to an accident and works under a contract with another employer (at another workplace than where the accident occurred), this employer pays for the first five days of disability from its funds. The amount of payment is 100% of the average salary, regardless of the employee's insurance experience. Starting from the sixth day of temporary disability, sick leave is paid by the Pension Fund of Ukraine,' reported the Pension Fund. The Pension Fund also reminded that assistance for temporary disability caused by an accident or occupational disease at the workplace is assigned and paid by the employer at the rate of 100% of the average wage. The first seventeen days of disability are paid by this employer from their funds.Let us recall that the Pension Fund recalculates the amount of granted housing subsidy within the established period twice a year - in March and August - if the average monthly income of the family exceeds 50% or decreases.
