In November, speed limits and new signs will be installed on the roads of Ukraine.

Changes in traffic rules in Ukraine
Starting November 1, 2024, new speed limit rules will be introduced in all cities of Ukraine. The maximum allowed speed will be 50 km/h. This was reported by the First Deputy Head of the Department of Patrol Police, Oleksiy Biloshytskyi.
In some cities of our country, particularly Kyiv and Dnipro, sections of the road where the traffic conditions permit had speed limit signs of 80 km/h. These signs will now be replaced with standard ones, limiting speed to 50 km/h. Thus, the rules essentially remain unchanged, while the winter period is starting, which does not imply any other speed limit.
Also, starting October 1, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted a resolution mandating the obligatory submission of documentation confirming the car's value when concluding a purchase-sale agreement. This will prevent evaluating the car based on the seller's words and will help avoid tax minimization during purchase and sale transactions.
Let's recall that recently new provisions of the Traffic Rules came into force in Ukraine. In particular, low beam headlights outside the city remain mandatory even after May 1. Over the last four years, since the start of automatic traffic rules violation recording, more than 10 million resolutions have been issued, with 89% fulfilled and fines paid totaling over 2.1 billion UAH.
