On the official Guinness World Records website, it was noted that the achievement of the Ukrainian athlete emphasizes that there are no limits in figure skating regarding achieving a high level of mastery. Alisa herself commented on her victory on Instagram, saying: 'Many things seem impossible until you do them.'
In an interview with the BBC, the figure skater explained that all ice arenas in Kharkiv are destroyed, and thus she went to the gym for training. Her long engagement in figure skating began at the age of four, and she first put on stilts in 2019. She has to work hard, as fixed feet are necessary for stability on the metal structures.
It should also be noted that Kyiv resident Vitaliy Plyonsak entered the Book of Records of Ukraine by running at least 10 kilometers daily for five years, one month, and three days without any missed days. These achievements confirm the high level of Ukrainian athletes in various sports.
