Ukraine Facility: The European Commission approved the allocation of 4.1 billion euros to Ukraine.


Ukraine will receive 4.1 billion euros in support from the European Commission
Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced that the European Commission has approved the allocation of 4.1 billion euros to Ukraine under the Ukraine Facility. He noted that the EC gave a positive assessment of the reforms carried out by the government and confirmed the fulfillment of the necessary indicators for receiving this tranche.
Shmyhal expressed hope for the swift approval of the decision by the EU Council. After receiving support of this amount, the total aid under the Ukraine Facility this year will amount to 16.1 billion euros.
The Prime Minister thanked the European Commission for its continuous support of Ukraine. He emphasized that even in the conditions of war with Russia, the country continues to recreate and transform itself with the aim of getting closer to Europe and full membership in the EU.
