Ukrainians were shown how prices differ for gasoline, diesel fuel, and automotive gas in Kyiv and Odesa regions, according to data from the Minfin portal published in the publication 'Khvylia'.
Refueling a car is becoming a significant expense, especially in summer when many people plan trips and use transport for various needs. Fuel prices play an important role in family budgets, logistical costs for businesses, and overall mobility of the population. Regional differences in fuel prices create particular interest when planning trips and choosing a place to refuel.
As of May 28, 2025, fuel prices in Kyiv and Odesa regions show noticeable regional differences. In Kyiv region, the price of A-98 gasoline is 52.00 UAH per liter, while in Odesa region the same type of fuel costs less - 49.50 UAH per liter, creating a difference of 2.50 UAH in favor of the southern region.
Premium gasoline and diesel fuel also show price differences between the regions. Autogas prices reveal only minor differences between the regions.
Regional differences in fuel prices in Ukraine are becoming an important factor for residents of different regions when planning their trips and transport costs. The gap in prices for gasoline, diesel fuel, and automotive gas can be noticeable in Ukrainians' pockets, affecting their financial capabilities and choice of refueling stations.
