President Volodymyr Zelensky signed an agreement with Denmark for the joint production of drones and missiles outside of Ukraine. The importance of this step for the defense cooperation of both countries was highlighted during a meeting with Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen.

Under the agreement, Denmark will allocate 1.26 billion euros to Ukrainian drone production. This step is strategic in the partnership of both countries and opens new opportunities for collaboration in the arms manufacturing sector.

'Denmark will be the first country with which Ukraine will launch the production of drones and missiles abroad,' Zelensky emphasized.

During the meeting, the needs of the Ukrainian military and plans for support from Denmark during its presidency of the European Council were also discussed. The main goal of the process is to assist Ukraine on its path to the European Union and to initiate negotiations.

The agreement on the joint production of drones and missiles underscores the growth of the strategic partnership between Ukraine and Denmark, as well as providing Ukraine with new opportunities in the defense industry and support on its path to Euro-integration.
