Ukraine suspended agreement with the US on extraction and processing of minerals due to Trump.

Ukraine postponed signing agreement with the United States awaiting Trump
Ukraine postponed signing an agreement with the United States on cooperation in the extraction and processing of minerals due to waiting for Donald Trump's presidential inauguration. This decision was made after Kyiv intended to sign an agreement with President Joe Biden's administration.
According to The New York Times, this move indicates that Ukraine may be trying to negotiate with Trump, whose policies are aimed at developing American industry, which could include Ukrainian natural resources.
According to Horizon Capital, a leading Ukrainian private investment company, Ukraine has deposits of 20 essential minerals, such as cobalt and graphite, with reserves estimated at trillions of dollars.
Additionally, Ukraine possesses one-third of the confirmed lithium reserves in Europe, which is an important resource for producing battery cells that may interest Elon Musk's business, a close associate of Trump.
