Ukraine participates in the formation of NATO's Scientific and Technical Strategy.


Ukrainian specialists in the NATO project
Specialists from the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine are participating for the first Time in the development of a new NATO Scientific and Technical Strategy. This has become possible thanks to Ukraine's participation in the NATO Science and Technology Organization (STO).
The Scientific and Technical Strategy is a key document that defines the tasks and objectives of the Alliance in this area, as well as the strategy for their implementation and the policy that will be implemented by the NATO Council on Science and Technology for the next six years.
Ukrainian specialists are working on the document in close collaboration with representatives of the STO.
The Director of the Department of Military Education and Science, Volodymyr Mirnenko, emphasized that the cooperation of the Ministry of Defense scientists with NATO partners indicates trust and interest in joint work in the field of defense research and development.
The creation of a common scientific knowledge base and scientific diplomacy will contribute to European integration processes and enhance Ukraine's defense capabilities through joint scientific achievements and technological innovations.
Analysis
Participation in the development of NATO's Scientific and Technical Strategy is an important step for Ukraine in strengthening cooperation with the Alliance and enhancing the level of defense security. It also indicates recognition of Ukrainian specialists in the European scientific environment and promotes mutual exchange of experience and technologies.
