US discusses the possibility of supplying Ukraine with JASSM missiles for F-16, - Politico.

Ukraine may receive JASSM missiles to enhance its F-16 fighters, Politico reports, citing unnamed White House officials.
The administration of President Joe Biden is open to this idea and plans to send Ukraine long-range cruise missiles JASSM, which will enhance its combat potential. The US Department of Defense is already working on allowing Ukraine to launch American missiles from its fighters.
The White House's decision to transfer "air-to-ground" missiles to Ukraine was made after a successful Ukrainian offensive in the Kursk region.
However, the final decision on the transfer of missiles has not yet been made, the administration is working on solving complex issues, in particular, the verification of technology transfer and the adaptation of Ukrainian aircraft to launch missiles.
It should be noted that over the past 30 months the US has supplied Ukraine with F-16 fighters, Abrams tanks, cruise missiles, Patriot air defense systems, and modern infantry fighting vehicles, significantly enhancing the capabilities of the Ukrainian army.
The JASSM missiles, developed by Lockheed Martin, have been used by the US in a limited number of combat operations and are available only to a few closest allies.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ruslan Syrsky, discussed Ukraine's critical needs with US leadership.
