A separate category for non-residential properties has appeared in the Damage Register, where damages from damaged garages, outbuildings, or warehouses can be documented, taking the first step towards future compensation.

An application A3.2 'Damage or destruction of non-residential real estate' can be submitted on the Diya portal.
Even if the property is in a combat zone or the documents are incomplete, the application is important.
'Every recorded case is evidence of Russia's war crimes and a step towards fair compensation. The more facts about the damage and losses we gather, the stronger our position will be for bringing the Russian Federation to justice at the international level,' emphasized Diya.
Therefore, the availability of a separate category for non-residential properties in the Damage Register is an important step for those affected by damages to garages, warehouses or other non-residential buildings. It will also allow gathering evidence to hold the Russian Federation accountable for war crimes at the international level.
