On the night of July 10, the capital again became a target for Russia's massive shelling, resulting in the death of residents in the city. In the Podilskyi district of Kyiv, two women were killed — a 68-year-old local and a 22-year-old police corporal who served in the metro police.

This was reported by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Ihor Klymenko.

The number of injured in Kyiv is increasing

The shelling struck residential, medical, educational, transport, and trade infrastructure in eight districts of the capital. The Ministry of Internal Affairs noted that the number of injured may still rise.

'More than a dozen people are injured. And, unfortunately, the number of casualties will increase. People continue to seek medical assistance. A door-to-door check of affected houses is ongoing — the police are checking if anyone has been left without help', Klymenko reported.
