Fighting in Kashmir between Indian and Pakistani forces continues.

Hostilities in Kashmir do not cease
Ceasefire violations and shootouts continue along the Line of Control between Indian and Pakistani-controlled areas of Kashmir, reports 'Glavkom' citing The Guardian.
Local residents claim that the constant shelling of border posts leaves them in fear and panic. Residents of the area cannot sleep at night due to ongoing artillery fire.
“In over twenty years, no one has seen such intense shelling,” emphasized local resident Javad Ahmed Paras.
The United States is closely monitoring the situation. A State Department representative emphasized that Washington currently has no comments regarding the attacks but is ready to help facilitate a peaceful resolution to the conflict through communication with the leadership of both countries.
Major operation in Kashmir
The Indian armed forces carried out a major operation on Pakistani territory and in Pakistani-administered Kashmir. This operation was aimed solely at terrorist infrastructure without targeting military objects in Pakistan. A presidential statement from the official page of the Indian army on social media talks about delivering justice.
At the same Time, Russia has supplied India with a new batch of surface-to-air missile systems, reinforcing its support in light of the recent events that have occurred in the Kashmir region.
