On May 7, in the Khmelnytskyi integrated territorial recruitment center, a man, waiting for the decision of the military medical commission, tried to escape by jumping out of the second-floor window, reports 'Glavkom' citing an official statement.

«Today, an incident occurred in the premises of the integrated city territorial recruitment center. The conscript, who was undergoing the military medical commission, tried to escape through the window», - the statement reads.

Doctors promptly provided assistance to the injured and transported him to the hospital, the center reports. The leadership of the military recruitment center urges conscripts not to take radical actions in such situations, as stress and anxiety during the commission do not justify such extreme measures.

Moreover, the head of the Second Department of the Dubno district territorial recruitment center, Yuriy Kovalyuk, was sent to the front. This decision was made after he refused to allow his son to join the army.
