The Czech Republic is considering the possibility of creating a legion of volunteers from Ukrainian citizens, reports ČT24. Defense Minister Černochová noted that the Ukrainian community in the Czech Republic is quite large, and it makes sense. It is planned that Czech citizens who are Ukrainians by nationality will join the training of Ukrainian military personnel. Defense Ministry spokesman Čapek noted that the evaluation of the Polish experience in creating a Ukrainian legion is underway. However, this does not yet mean that Prague plans to create such a unit from Ukrainians. There is a possibility that Czech instructors will assist Polish military in training Ukrainian volunteers.
