How much will a vacation in Turkey cost next season: hoteliers' opinion.

Turkish hoteliers will have to raise vacation prices again in the new season. The president of the Association of Professional Hotel Managers, Hakan Saatcioglu, stated that this is due to the necessity of increased expenses on personnel.
Hakan Saatcioglu forecasts that the cost of vacations for tourists will increase by 5-8% in 2025. One of the reasons for the price hike is the staff shortage in hotels, which hoteliers are trying to correct by raising wages. The association's representative explained that the rise in prices will help hotels reach a new level of operation.
He also noted that many hoteliers will have to keep their staff even during the winter period when the number of layoffs typically increases. According to him, many hotels will need to maintain 50% more staff than usual during the off-season.
It should be noted that most Turkish citizens can no longer afford a vacation in their own country even once a year due to economic difficulties. Therefore, they are increasingly traveling abroad.
Also, the number of tourists from Turkey traveling to Egypt has tripled. This year, it is expected that Egypt will be visited by 250,000 tourists from Turkey.
