Forecasters have predicted whether March in Ukraine will be warm and sunny.

The temperature in Eastern and South-Eastern Europe in February 2025 was below normal for this period by 1.5-3 °C. Ukraine also felt the cold, especially in the north, east, and in the Carpathians, but there was little snow.
In March, a consistently high atmospheric pressure is expected in Europe, with little precipitation and low activity of atmospheric fronts and cyclones.
The air temperature will depend on the presence of snow and the type of atmospheric circulation. In the first half of March, air masses may come from the southwest, but there will be short-term cold snaps from the north and northwest.
On average, the temperature in Europe for the month will be 1-3 °C above normal, and in the north-eastern part it may even be 4-7 °C higher.
In Ukraine, spring will arrive from the very first days of March, especially in the western and southern regions. In the north and east, it will remain cool, but in all regions, the temperature will gradually rise.
The average temperature in March will be 1-2 °C above normal, but in the Sea of Azov region, Crimea, and some eastern regions, it will be close to normal. Throughout the month, many sunny days are expected, but the nights will be cold.
Due to high atmospheric pressure, the amount of precipitation across Ukraine will be minimal, and 10-30% below normal. This is particularly true for the eastern, central, and northern regions, where there may be problems with drought due to insufficient moisture in previous months.
