The fighters of the 33rd Separate Mechanized Brigade hold the settlement of Bahatyr and continue to clear the village of occupiers. This was reported by Glavkom, referring to DeepState.

Analysts noted that Russian military correspondents claimed that the Russian Federation controls the village, but Ukrainian fighters have already cleared Bahatyr by 95%.

It is noted that the enemy attempted several times to break through from the eastern and southern outskirts, but the Armed Forces repelled the occupiers.

According to the brigade, enemy positions are currently concentrated near the highway. There may be small enemy sabotage groups in the village itself, but control over the settlement remains with the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Reaction of the Russian Occupiers

DeepState reported that the Russians tried again to establish themselves in the village with about 10 infantrymen, using four motorcycles, but the Ukrainian soldiers eliminated them. In addition, the Armed Forces destroyed a group of occupiers who infiltrated Bahatyr and tried to raise the Russian flag.

Earlier, it was reported that the enemy broke through the defenses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near Malynivka. Recently, Ukrainian troops continued their offensive north of Toretsk. It should be noted that the 1078th day of the war is ongoing in Ukraine.
