The first assault motorcycle platoon in the Armed Forces of Ukraine was created within the 425th separate assault regiment 'Skala'. This was reported by 'Glavkom' referring to the regiment's press service.

The training of the fighters involved hundreds of hours behind the wheel of motorcycles and practicing shooting on the move, firing thousands of rounds. As a result of this training, a modern 'cavalry' has been acquired, which is tasked with quickly breaking through enemy positions, conducting assault actions, and rapidly changing the direction of attack.

It was previously reported that Russian troops attacked with 40 motorcycles in one of the front lines. The occupiers have started to actively use such transport at the front.

It is noted that Russia might be preparing for the systematic integration of motorcycles into offensive operations in Ukraine in the summer and autumn of 2025 to neutralize the capabilities of Ukrainian drones.
