Rubio said what response the US is waiting for from Russia on the ceasefire proposal in Ukraine.

The US Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that the US is waiting for a response from Russia regarding Washington's proposal for a 30-day ceasefire in Ukraine. He made this statement while giving a speech at the airport in Ireland after negotiations concerning Ukraine.
Rubio expressed hope that both sides would find a mutually acceptable outcome, ensuring the long-term prosperity and security of Ukraine. He also noted that he would not speak about potential US responses if Russia rejects the ceasefire proposal.
The Secretary of State also highlighted that the resource agreement between the US and Ukraine would contribute to the vibrant economic development of the country and its GDP growth. He added that this would also be in the interest of the US regarding Ukraine's future.
