Famous singer Sofia Rotaru published a congratulatory post on Instagram on the occasion of City Day in Kyiv. One of the photos shows Sofiivska Square and the monument to Bohdan Khmelnytsky.

Also, the son of the Russian singer Ruslan Yevdokymenko expressed his congratulations on Kyiv Day by publishing a photo of chestnut leaves against the backdrop of the city.

Despite the fact that on this day Kyiv came under fire from Russia, city residents continued to celebrate the holiday. Illegal occupiers launched rockets and «shaheds», but this did not stop the people of the city.

Singer Sofia Rotaru has selectively appeared in the media since the beginning of the war, avoiding performances at concerts and refraining from public discussions about Russian aggression against Ukraine. However, she demonstrates the consequences of attacks and honors the memory of the fallen by publishing photos.
