Russian tennis player caught doping.

The International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) has temporarily suspended Oleksiy Mokrov from playing due to a violation of anti-doping rules. This was reported by the organization's press service.
The 20-year-old player is suspected of using the banned nandrolone, which was found in his doping sample taken on November 26, 2024, at a tournament in Egypt.
Oleksiy Mokrov is ranked 1413th in the ATP rankings.
It is worth mentioning that Australian tennis player Max Purcell has been temporarily banned from participating in competitions due to intravenous administration of various substances totaling more than 100 milliliters.
Max Purcell admitted his violation of the anti-doping program and has temporarily suspended his participation in competitions until June 11, 2026.
ITIA confirmed that Purcell agreed to the terms of the Tennis Anti-Doping Program (TADP) and accepted an 18-month suspension.
The player was found to have committed a violation regarding the use of a prohibited method. In December 2023, Max Purcell received an intravenous infusion of a substance totaling more than 500 ml over a 12-hour period, exceeding the permissible limit.
ITIA notified the player of a potential violation of anti-doping rules, after which Max Purcell voluntarily accepted the temporary suspension. Following an investigation involving the player and the organization, a violation was established. The player fully cooperated with ITIA, which allowed for a 25% reduction in sanctions.
Max Purcell, a 27-year-old player, is the champion of Wimbledon 2022 and US Open 2024 in doubles. He has also won eight ATP titles in doubles. The player's highest rank in singles is 40th, while in doubles it is eighth.
It is worth noting that Chelsea midfielder and Ukraine national football team player Mykhailo Mudryk underwent a lie detector test to prove there was no intention to use a forbidden substance.
