Russians claimed an attack on the Kursk NPP: Disinformation Counteraction Center clarified.

Today, October 3, the Russians claimed that the Kursk NPP was attacked. However, according to the head of the Disinformation Counteraction Center, Andriy Kovalenko, this information is false.
The Russians spread false information about a strike on the Kursk NPP from HIMARS. Of course, no one targeted the NPP, there is no point in it. The Russians show some fire in Kurchatov, and the video shows an explosion on the ground. What's the connection with the NPP attack? It is far away. There is nothing related to an attack on the Kursk NPP», – says the statement.

Russian media report that the Kursk NPP operates in a normal mode, with radiation levels normal. It is also noted that a UAV was allegedly shot down in the Kurchatov area. According to the governor of the Kursk region, explosions occurred in a household building as a result of the UAV crash, which is unrelated to the Kursk NPP.
Let's remind, Russian soldiers are preparing to defend the Kursk NPP due to the approach of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This is reported by Russian media. According to journalists, Russian security forces blocked the access roads to the Kursk nuclear power plant.
