Russia attacked a hospital in Sumy twice in the morning with 'shaheds': there are dead and wounded.


On September 28, 2024, Russian troops carried out an airstrike on a medical facility in Sumy using 'Shahed' drones. According to the latest data, 7 people were killed as a result of the attack.
This was reported by 'Khvylya', citing local authorities and information resources.
The Sumy Regional Military Administration reported that at the Time of the attack, there were 86 patients in the hospital, 15 of whom were immobile, as well as 38 medical staff. Among the seriously wounded are two medical workers: a doctor and a nurse who were in the reception area. They are currently undergoing surgeries.
The situation worsened when a second strike occurred shortly after the first attack, just as rescuers and police were providing assistance and evacuating those affected by the initial strike.
As a result of the two attacks, the total number of wounded reached 12 people, whose conditions are assessed as severe. Among the dead is a police officer who arrived at the scene of the strike.
It should be noted that on September 19, a Russian strike was recorded on a geriatric boarding house in Sumy.
