Russia attacked an energy facility in Sumy region
Today, on October 20, Russia attacked one of the energy facilities in Sumy region. As a result, 103 settlements in Romny region were left without power. This was reported by Sumyoblenergo.
This morning, the Russian army struck one of the energy facilities in Sumy region. Consequently, more than 37 thousand consumers in Romny region (104 settlements) are temporarily without power," the statement reads.
Moreover, more than 14 thousand electricity consumers are left without power due to Russia's military aggression in the border areas of Sumy region - 130 settlements.
All efforts of the energy workers are directed towards restoring power distribution to every household," noted in Sumyoblenergo.
It is recalled that on 19th and 20th October, Russians massively attacked Ukrainian regions using ballistic missiles and drones. Explosions were heard in the capital and in a number of regions of Ukraine.
As reported, Kharkiv and Sumy were affected by the strikes. In Sumy, after the attack by the Russian army, electricity was cut, and in some areas of the city, the water supply disappeared.
Also, in the evening of October 19, the occupiers twice attacked Kryvyi Rih in the Dnipropetrovsk region. As a result, 17 people were injured, including a rescuer.
