The Rada proposes to rename several more cities in Ukraine.

The expert commission of the Ukrainian Institute of National Memory recommends changing the names of five more cities in Ukraine. New draft resolutions No. 12084 and No. 12085 have already been registered in the Verkhovna Rada.
This decision is necessitated by the need to bring the names of geographical objects in line with the law "On Condemnation and Prohibition of Propaganda of Russian Imperial Policy in Ukraine and Decolonization of Toponymy".
In particular, it is proposed to rename the city of Pervomaisk in the Mykolaiv region to Orlyk or Bohopol, which are historical names of parts of the city.
The name of the city Yuzhnoukrainsk is proposed to be changed to Gard.
It is proposed to rename the city of Yuzhne in the Odessa region to Port-Annenthal.
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, it is proposed to change the name of the city Pavlohrad to Matviyiv, and the Pavlohrad district to Matviyiv district.
It is also proposed to rename Synelnykove to Ridnopillya, and the Synelnykiv district to Ridnopilsky district.
Let us remind you that 13 city objects have already been renamed in Kyiv. Eight of them were renamed in the process of de-Russification and de-communization, and five for other reasons. The majority of the Kyiv City Council deputies supported such decisions at a plenary session on September 19.
It should be noted that the number of local residents who are against renaming toponyms in Odessa outnumbers those who are for it — 1603 votes. This is evidenced by a survey by the city's mayor, Hennadiy Trukhanov, on his Telegram channel. The Mayor of Odessa noted that not only local residents took part in the survey.
