Farewell to Maxim Nelypa, who died in battle on May 12, will take place in Kyiv on May 23. This was reported by 'Glavcom' with reference to the brother of the deceased Maxim Nelypa.

The farewell ceremony will take place on Friday, May 23, in Kyiv at the DK KPI (the cultural palace of the Kyiv Polytechnic University). It will start at 10:30 AM. Maxim Nelypa's brother provided the contacts of the ceremony coordinators, as well as contacts for those wishing to send a wreath or flowers.

As reported, former actor of 'Diesel Show' and host Maxim Nelypa died on the front line on May 12. Nelypa, who hosted programs 'Who's There?' and 'Uplift', participated in the project 'Dancing with the Stars' paired with Olena Shoptenko, and joined the Armed Forces in March 2022. He held the position of commander of a reconnaissance platoon in the structure of the command of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In January of this year, it became known that the actor received severe injuries at the front and underwent three surgeries.

“Initially in the Territorial Defense, then in the Armed Forces. Recently he was 'performing' in the Forces of Unmanned Systems - organizing 'fiery' shows for the Russian occupiers with the help of UAVs. From the work of his 'creative team' in the composition of the 14th separate regiment of unmanned aerial complexes, the occupiers happily stomp to concerts of Kobzon and 'KVN' Maslyakov. Max, with the rank of senior lieutenant, was recently appointed commander of a company; his comrades continue to carry out combat missions,” said his brother, Andriy Nelypa, sharing a touching post.

Famous Ukrainian actor-warrior Oleg Ivanitsia expressed his condolences on the death of his colleague Maxim Nelypa. They worked together in 'Diesel Show' and were friends for many years.

Maxim Nelypa died fighting for the independence and freedom of Ukraine, for which he is greatly appreciated and honored by the Ukrainian people.
