Weather forecast for May 17-18: temperature contrasts, rain, and unstable weather.

Weather forecast in Ukraine for mid-May
The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center reports that from May 17 to 19, the territory of Ukraine will remain under a low-pressure area with a cool air mass from the northwest.
Unstable weather with alternating light and moderate rains will be formed by two cyclones — one centered over Poland, and the other moving from the Balkans in a northeastern direction across the south and center of Ukraine.
'Look how clearly the cyclone centered over Poland is seen along with its atmospheric front that is currently crossing Ukraine, causing rain and dragging cold air behind it! And the contrasts! It's +7 degrees in Kyiv now, but +21 degrees in Luhansk!', — noted forecaster Natalka Didenko on social media.
On May 18, rainy weather will persist over most of the country except for the southern regions. The air temperature on Sunday will rise to +15...+19°C, and in the east and south — to +18...+22°C. The coolest weather will be in the western regions: +10...+14°C.
According to Didenko, the beginning of next week in Ukraine will be relatively warm (except for the western regions), with rain and cooling expected again on Tuesday, while moderate but prolonged warming is forecasted for Wednesday.
'Dear tomato seedling enthusiasts — be on the lookout!', — added the forecaster, hinting at the instability of weather conditions for gardeners.
