Occupants attacked energy facilities in the north and south of Ukraine.


This morning, the Russians shelled the "Ukrenergo" energy facility in the southern region. There was no power outage for consumers. This was reported by "Ukrenergo".
Currently, emergency repair work is ongoing in the region.
Also at night, Russian drones attacked an oblenergo energy facility in the northern region.
Consumers in certain areas of the Chernihiv region were without power. By morning, the power supply to all consumers was restored.
Additionally, due to hostilities and for other reasons, 492 settlements are completely or partially without power. In particular, there are outages in Donetsk, Sumy, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, and Kherson regions due to hostilities.
As reported, on Wednesday, August 14, there will be no power outage schedules applied in Ukraine.
Previously, Deputy Minister of Energy Svitlana Hrynchuk stated that even if Ukraine faces the same heat as in July, the return to strict power outage schedules is not expected at present. However, it is important to remember the potential Russian attacks on the energy sector, which could change the situation.
Earlier, it was reported that in 2024, "Energoatom" plans to carry out repairs on two more nuclear power plant units in preparation for the upcoming heating season.
