After rumors in the media about a possible escape abroad, Vice Prime Minister for National Unity Oleksiy Chernyshov returned to Ukraine. He announced this in his Facebook post, as reported by 'Glavcom'.

According to the politician, tomorrow, June 23, he will return to work in the Cabinet of Ministers. 'We will implement agreements in practice. We plan to maintain support for our citizens in EU countries. We will check the rumors based on facts. The truth is always on the surface,' he emphasized.

«Home again. A tense but important mission (which some media made very popular) is over,» Chernyshov noted.

Recall that on the night of June 10-11, the Vice Prime Minister went abroad on a business trip to the Czech Republic, then visited other EU countries. His trip coincided with publications about suspicions of corruption ties in the construction sector in the government.

After the adoption of the law stripping MPs from the 'European Solidarity' party of their immunity, Chernyshov’s actions in the government will be closely monitored.
