Poland continues to be one of the most attractive countries for Ukrainians who were forced to leave their homes due to the war. Many of our compatriots have found jobs here and are receiving stable salaries.

Starting from January 1, 2025, Poland has set a new minimum wage of 4,666 zlotys gross per month, which is equivalent to approximately 53,681 UAH. After paying taxes, an employee receives about 3,510 zlotys 'net' (approximately 40,382 UAH).

Who and How Much They Earn for Work at Night

Every employee, regardless of profession, is entitled to compensation for work at night - from 21:00 to 07:00. The amount of this allowance is calculated using the formula: the minimum monthly wage is divided by the number of working hours in the current month, and then 20% of this amount is determined.

In 2025, the estimated minimum allowances for one hour of night work change monthly. For example, in January it is 5.55 zlotys/hour, in February - 5.83 zlotys/hour, in March - 5.55 zlotys/hour, and so on.

The specified amounts are the minimum mandatory allowances. The employer can set higher bonuses at their discretion, but they cannot be lower than the established values.

It was previously reported that in Poland it is not necessary to have large profits to fall into the category of affluent. The wealth threshold for different categories of individuals is set differently.

Poland remains an attractive country for Ukrainians seeking work abroad. The new minimum wage levels and compensation for night work indicate that the economic situation in the country is stabilizing and developing, which may attract even more Ukrainians to jobs in Poland.
