Marchenko answered whether Ukraine has enough money for 2025.

The Minister of Finance of Ukraine, Serhiy Marchenko, stated that Ukraine has sufficient external financing for the year 2025. According to him, budget support from key partners amounts to 16.8 billion US dollars, which fully meets the country's needs. However, the minister emphasized that Ukraine must be financially prepared for any events.
He noted that international support remains critically important in 2026 to ensure financial stability, restore the economy, and attract foreign investments. The total need for external financing for 2025 is 39.3 billion dollars.
Moreover, due to an increase in domestic revenues and stable financing, Ukraine is gradually reducing the budget deficit. Overall, revenues from the general fund of the state budget have increased by 1 billion dollars compared to the same period last year. Additionally, through the issuance of government bonds, 3 billion dollars have already been attracted to the budget this year. It is projected that the budget deficit in 2025 will decrease to 19.4% of GDP from 24% in 2024.
An important piece of news is that Ukraine has adequate resources for external financing for the next year. The increase in domestic revenues and stable financing help reduce the budget deficit. However, international support remains crucial for the stability and development of the country's economy. The total need for external financing is significant and amounts to 39.3 billion dollars. Ukraine must continue to take steps to attract foreign investments and ensure financial stability.
