Lviv Polytechnic has fired a man who insulted a veteran at the bank.

The university expressed its position regarding the behavior of former employees
The leadership of the National University 'Lviv Polytechnic' expressed its outrage at the unlawful and rude behavior of two former employees towards Ukrainian serviceman with disabilities Roman Yavorskyi. This information is contained in the official statement of the university.
One of the former employees, Vasyl Pylypyshyn, who held the position of foreman in the chief mechanic's department, was fired today. His wife, Olha Pylypyshyn, who worked as a cloakroom attendant in the logistics department, had already been dismissed earlier.
«We categorically condemn any manifestations of contempt or discrimination, especially towards the defenders of our country. Such behavior is absolutely unacceptable and inconsistent with the values of our university, which are based on mutual respect, dignity, and support for every member of society», - the statement said.
The university emphasized the support of Ukrainian military personnel and their families, specifically reminding about the polytechnics who gave their lives in the war. Enormous respect and apologies were also expressed to Roman Yavorskyi for the moral harm inflicted upon him.
Let us remind you that earlier Roman Yavorskyi published an incident of unjust treatment towards him at a bank in Lviv, where he faced rudeness and insults.
These situations serve as a provocative signal about the necessity of constantly emphasizing the importance of respect for the defenders of the country and supporting such heroes.
