The Kursk breakthrough did not force Russia to redeploy troops from Donbass – Bloomberg.

According to Bloomberg, Russia decided not to redeploy troops from the front line in Donbass despite the successful offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kursk region.
According to an anonymous source of the publication, the Russian military command refused to move forces to support the Ukrainian offensive in the Kursk region. Bloomberg notes that the Kremlin was taken by surprise by the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in this region.
According to the publication, although some Russian forces were withdrawn from Ukraine after the invasion of the Kursk region, it is unlikely that these were front-line troops.
Residents of the Russian Kursk region are not massively evacuating to the temporarily occupied territories of the Zaporizhia region, although there are isolated cases of relocation.
Separately, the authorities of the Russian Kursk region announced the mandatory evacuation of the entire border Glushkovsky district due to the deteriorating security situation on the border with Ukraine.
