ISW names key target of occupiers in Donetsk.

Russian troops have begun offensive actions to the east of Pokrovsk with the aim of encircling the city from the northeast. This is reported by the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
Analysts claim that Russian forces are preparing for an offensive in the vicinity of Vozdvizhenka and Yelizavetivka, and are also continuing active operations in this area. This indicates planning for an offensive on Pokrovsk from the northeast.
The ISW report notes that units of the 41st Russian Army are preparing for activation to the east and northeast of Pokrovsk. Military experts have been observing this process for several months.
In particular, analysts believe that Russian forces may break through to Pokrovsk through less urbanized and less protected areas of Vozdvizhenka-Yelizavetivka-Myrne-Razine, compared to Novoekonomichne and Myrnograd.
Previously, ISW warned that Russian troops, if they want to encircle Pokrovsk from the northeast or southwest, will have to advance quickly toward Novoekonomichne or Myrnograd.
Ukrainian troops continue offensive actions in the Kursk region, advancing in three directions.
The Russian side expressed concern about the capability of Russian troops to respond to Ukraine's overall military efforts to integrate electronic warfare (EW) and conduct ground operations.
