The Intel Corporation won a court case against the EU concerning antitrust abuse. The court believes that regulators failed to prove that the company illegally offered discounts to PC manufacturers who bought many chips from Intel. This ruling reiterates a decision made two years ago and partially annulled the Commission's 2009 decision, in which Intel was accused of violating competition. Although Intel is pleased with this ruling, the case is not yet closed as another legal battle continues over a new fine imposed by the Commission last year.
