The European Union may make concessions to the USA regarding gas: what is known.

The European Union simplifies the import of American gas
The European Union is actively working on simplifying the import of American gas while maintaining its environmental standards concerning methane emissions, Reuters reports.
According to sources, the European Commission is planning to adopt a more flexible approach to its methane rules to encourage trade with the United States. At the same Time, Brussels wants to maintain the integrity of environmental legislation and develop technical mechanisms that will allow American exporters to meet European methane emission standards.
'The EU wants to avoid weakening the overall law while simultaneously introducing technical rules that would allow American exporters to be considered compliant with the EU's 'equivalent' methane rules,' sources say.
U.S. President Donald Trump urged the European Union to increase purchases of American gas to reduce the trade imbalance, which led to such actions.
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen stated that the EU is ready to increase imports of American gas, completely abandoning Russian gas by 2027.
It is also worth noting that the tariff war between the USA and China is ongoing, which is causing the Boeing 737 MAX to return to the USA.
