The Ukrainian futsal team has secured a ticket to the Euro-2026 final tournament

According to the Ukrainian Football Association (UAF), the draw for the Euro-2026 futsal final tournament will take place on October 24. The Ukrainian team advanced to the final after winning against Cyprus with a score of 11:1. The European Championship will be held from January 20 to February 7 in Riga and Kaunas.

The Ukrainian team successfully passed the group stage of the qualification, where it won against Cyprus (7:0), Romania (2:0), and Germany (5:3, 9:0). The key moments that ensured Ukraine's success against its competitors were a confident victory over Cyprus and Romania's loss in the match against Germany.

In the final group match against Romania, our team will meet its opponents on April 15 in Koszalin.

During the draw for the final tournament on October 24 at the Zalgiris Arena in Kaunas, four groups of four teams each will be formed. The two best teams from each group will advance to the quarter-finals. A total of 16 participants will compete in the Euro-2026 futsal tournament, including the hosts – Latvia and Lithuania, the winners of 10 groups from the main qualification round (besides Ukraine – Portugal, Slovenia, Poland, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Armenia, Belarus) and four teams that advanced to the playoffs from the second place.

The last match of the main round will take place on April 16. The draw for the playoff matches will take place on May 21, and the matches will be held from September 15 to 24.
