Mortgage available for displaced persons: a new program started in Ukraine.

Ukraine has launched a new affordable mortgage lending program to support internally displaced persons (IDPs). This initiative is a joint project of the Ministry of Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories and the State Fund for Youth Housing Construction, financially supported by the German Government through the Credit Institution for Reconstruction (KfW).
The program offers unique conditions for borrowers:
- Interest rate - only 3% per annum, the lowest in Ukraine
- Long loan term - up to 30 years, with repayment until the borrower reaches the age of 65
- Minimum initial contribution - from 6% of the cost of housing
The object of lending can be both an apartment and a house. The property must meet one of the following criteria: commissioned no more than 50 years ago or reconstructed no more than 35 years ago.
This program opens up new opportunities for thousands of Ukrainian families who were forced to leave their homes due to military aggression.
Detailed information about participation conditions in the "Residential premises for internally displaced persons" program can be found in the video on the Ministry of Reintegration's Telegram channel, explaining all aspects of this initiative.
