Is the UOC a Moscow Church? Onufriy lost another court case.

The UOC MP once again failed to refute the canonical connection with the Moscow Patriarchate
The Kyiv Metropolis of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC MP) again failed to refute its canonical connection with the Moscow Patriarchate. This was reported by the portal Glavcom, citing the decision of the Kyiv District Administrative Court.
The UOC MP sued the State Service for Ethnopolitics and Freedom of Conscience of the Ministry of Culture with the aim of recognizing the inaction of officials due to their lack of response to religious studies expertise. However, the court denied the UOC MP's demands and recognized the expert conclusion as valid.
Experts, paying attention to various documents, stated that the UOC MP is not in a state of autocephaly and is a structural unit of the Russian Orthodox Church.
The religious organization and its leadership could not prove that the experts had a negative impact on the results of the expertise. They also failed to refute the very content of the expert conclusion.
It should be noted that the court found that the UOC MP itself sent its representative for the expertise. However, the head of this organization did not provide explanations regarding the church-canonical connection with the Moscow Patriarchate.
The court's decision takes effect after the expiration of the deadline for filing an appeal, which is one month.
